News ---- 31/06/2011 - By popular demand, the mirrors are now back on an un-restricted 1Gbps full-duplex port, with all geographic bandwidth restrictions lifted. Thanks for your continued support. 29/09/2010 - We've tweaked the restrictions slightly now, to provide UK users with a minimum of 300kb/sec under most conditions. Country restrictions now only apply to ubuntu-releases, and not other mirrors. 06/09/2010 - We've had to restrict bandwidth to 20Mbit for countries listed below, due to HTTP-based mirroring and general abuse. Other countries may be added to this list to improve performance for users in the UK and EU. Please use rsync if you wish to mirror anything here. Restricted countries ---- Argentina Brazil China Hong Kong India Indonesia Iran Malaysia Nigeria Taiwan Vietnam 03/09/2010 - You can now see a list of countries and connections from them (ordered by connections in decending numerical order) in a file in the root named usage.txt. The list is updated every 15 minutes. This will be monitored for quality control purposes.
